Guided Mountain ascents
For New Zealand alpinism activities, the Southern Alps offer mountaineering
challenges second to none, providing a great taste of wilderness
while climbing classic peaks with the safety and comfort of a top

Skiing and Snow Board Touring Sept/Oct
Come NZ late winter we specialize in back country ski touring and
offer an avalanche course for back country enthusiasts either on
skis or snow boards. Experience and discover the glaciated wilderness
of the Southern Alps. Learn some avalanche skills to travel safely
in snow and ice. Sept./Oct. are the best months for ski touring
in New Zealand.
Wanaka is the base of Alpinism and Ski, a perfect
location to start your alpine climbing adventures. If you as an
alpinist in NZ need a place to stay, try our Alpinism
studio holiday accommodation or ask about the 'climbers bunkroom'
In Europe during June, July and August, we operate out of the charming
Swiss village of Leysin, only a short drive from Chamonix and Mont
Blanc and/or Italy to enjoy the excellent climbing and infrastructure
that Europe provides.

Guides (Aoraki) Ltd.
Bookings
will go through their office and will be subject to their booking
conditions. Trips with Gary will be run as per AGL's concession
and safety management system requirements.
